HISTORY: In the late 1990s I was working as a DSM in Pinedale, WY. I disliked doing the "drilling diary" and "to-do lists" in a notebook. So, I took a couple of days and wrote a spreadsheet to estimate drilling times and make notes. I called it "Rig Activity Time Estimator". I improved it over the years and shared it with other DSMs. Many found it useful and likewise shared it.
In the following years I would run across someone using the sheet and I would always share the newest version. I've also run across some who try to take credit for the app. Oh well.
So here we are and a lot of folks have made suggestions on improvements. I've sat down with a nearly clean sheet and developed what I hope is a vastly improved pro-level version using the original K.I.S.S. theory. I put this page together to share the app and maybe make a few bucks to help keep me at my computer. Thanks for your support.
